Mental health is an issue for everyone. Most people have periods of contentment and then times come that are more of a struggle. We all have loved ones, friends or family, who go through these same mental health ebbs and flows. For the some the suffering can be deep, profound and long lasting.
Given the success of last year’s training in “Getting our Mind Around Mental Health” – the Grow Team has once again invited Dr. Carolyn Russell to lead us in training in the care of people who are struggling with their mental health.
“When I said, “My foot is slipping, your unfailing love, Lord supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy“Psalm 94:18 and 19
The format of the evening will build on last year – with more time being given to Carolyn to work through real-life scenarios, showing us how best to respond to people, when their “foot is slipping”.
Anyone who calls Living Church home (Creek Road and Springfield Campuses) are most welcome to attend with special invitations for our Growth Group Leaders and Coaches.
Dinner – Preordered and paid for before the evening.
Childcare available but must be booked.
