As we have started meeting together for our Sunday services, we have had to put practices in place to enable us to comply with our COVID Safe Industry Plan.

A big thank you to everyone in our church family as you have all played your part – we remind you that RSVPing to Sunday services and social distancing are a way everyone can help us comply.

But there are jobs like disinfecting and refreshments that need to be done after every service, that we want to be more organised in getting people helping with each week.

Disinfecting 

We have had many people step in to do this each week which has been wonderful, but we would like to form a team of people who are willing to be rostered on every now and then to help.

After each of our services (9am, 6pm) we need to have all surfaces that people might have touched disinfected. This involves spraying disinfectant and spreading it around with a cloth on these surfaces that include – chairs, toilets, foyer. If there are a few people, it doesn’t take long.

Serving Refreshments

We paused serving refreshments after church, but we would like to consider starting that again if we have enough people to form a team.

It would involve serving tea, coffee & pre-packaged biscuits.

If you would like to help with refreshments you will need to do a short (less than 30 minutes) online course running through the basics of serving food & drink in a safe way.
