Many of you would know our brother Shane Atkinson. On Monday 10th May, Shane is undergoing some major surgery at the PA hospital.

He will be given a new prosthetic jaw joint on each side of his mouth to replace his own that have been damaged by his arthritic disease. The surgery is risky and he will have to have a breathing tube post-surgery for a week or so.

Please join with us in prayer for Shane this week leading into the surgery, and next week as he recovers. We can pray that he will be aware of God’s presence and comfort and that he will not be overly nervous.

Pray also for the medical team that the surgery will go as planned.
