Living Church Prayer – 24 September 2020

Better is one day in your courts
    than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
    than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
    the Lord bestows favor and honor;
no good thing does he withhold
    from those whose walk is blameless.

Psalm 84:10-11

For our Church

  • Pray that as Phil brings the bible talk from Psalm 84 this Sunday, that we will be reminded of the value of gathering together as a body of Christ.
  • Pray for our Staff and Board as they continue to wrestle with how best to lead Living Church.
  • Pray for our Denominational Body – PCQ – as they seek to support churches growing healthy gospel ministry
  • Continue to pray for the City South Campus as they continue their journey towards becoming an independent congregation at the start of next year.
  • Please be praying for Springfield Campus as they seek to move venues so they can resume meeting together from 4 October.

For our World

  • Continue to pray for those countries affected by Covid-19. Pray for wisdom for their leaders.

For our partnerships

  • Pray for the SU spring camps happening next week. Lots of our people get involved in leadership, and our young people get involved as campers. Please pray for “Extreme Break Out 2020”, “Gents Camp 2020”, and “Loop Day Camp”, just to name a few. These camps are a great opportunity for kids to hear about, and grow in faith. Pray for safety, fun times, soft hearts, and above all that God will be glorified.
