Please find attached a letter from PCQ regarding action taken by the Letters Patent Officers (trustees) this week to apply to the Queensland Supreme Court to place the legal entity into receivership.

This action has regrettably come after more than a year of hard work to exit the aged care industry.

We anticipate the ministry of Living Church will continue as normal. We will still be meeting as God’s people this Sunday and through the week in Growth Groups, and we will continue to serve him and our community as usual.

This Sunday we will be deviating from our Daniel series in response to this matter – Dave Thurston will be preaching from Romans 8:31-39 on trusting a sovereign and loving God in difficult times, and we will have a time of corporate and communal prayer.

As developments occur, we will continue to update you all in the most timely manner. Please keep an eye on tomorrow’s newsletter, and your inbox for updates on how we might best respond as a church.

In his letter, Stu Hoadley encourages us all to humble ourselves before God, to trust and pray that he will continue to use his people for his glory, and asks that we continue to pray and contend with God for peace and protection of all involved. So we ask that in response to this news, as you process it, that you lift this matter to God.
