Towards 2021
The board, together with the staff team, would like to invite you to ‘Towards 2021’; an evening of reflecting on what a year it’s been, and looking forward to the year to come.
At this event, we will discuss as a church, the ministry plans for 2021 (hearing from our key ministry leaders), how they are going to be run (an overview of what the staff team will look like), and then how they will be funded (the budget).
The budget will be sent out in the newsletter on Thursday 12th November, so there will be lots of time to ask questions prior to the night. There will also be a chance to ask questions on the night.
Given the current covid climate we find ourselves in, there will be no meal, however we will provide a covid-safe dessert. And we will have babysitting available, should anyone need it.
The RSVP system will work in the same way as our Sunday services, so we can ‘scan you in’ when you arrive, allowing us to keep a record of all those who attended.
Following on from this event, there will be a congregational meeting, after the morning service on Sunday 29th November where we will vote to approve the budget. Keep an eye on the newsletter for details of this congregational meeting.
We know that for a lot of you Wednesday night would normally be a Growth Group evening, but the ideas we will be talking about at this event are an important part of the life of our church. So if this is a Growth Group night for you, why not gather your group and plan to come along.
