Covid Update – Gathering in person Sunday 24/1/21

This morning QLD Government were able to announce that as of 1am Friday 22nd January the restrictions put in place in response to the UK strain threat in Brisbane will lift.

This means we will resume our in person Sunday gatherings from this Sunday 24th January.

Praise God for his protection over our people, our city, and our state.

The lifting of restrictions means we return to operating under our COVID Safe Industry Plan which requires the following:

  • Socially distance with 1.5m between (2 seats between households when seated)
  • Please stay home if you are sick, waiting on a COVID test result, or have been to a hotspot
  • RSVP to services https://livingchurch.org.au/RSVP/ and check in upon arrival
  • And practice hand and respiratory hygiene

The Government have said that masks are not mandatory in places of worship.

As a church, we value meeting together in person so we can encourage and love each other. It is always hard when we have to suspend our meetings, so we are extremely thankful that we can resume our meetings, and hope that you can join us.

Please pray with us for the continued protection over our people, for wisdom for our leaders as they manage COVID19, and for us as we live faithful lives in the face of change and uncertainty.
