This week will see further easing of COVID restrictions.
Here is a summary of what this means for you and our church.
QLD Check-in App
This coming Sunday is the last time you will have to register with Eventbrite – From next week you will be required to sign in at the door using the QLD Check In App – just like you do at the moment at restaurants, cafes, and other venues.. We will have the QR Code at the door on Sunday.
If you haven’t got the QLD Check In App, you can download it here:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/check-in-qld/id1546028652
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=au.gov.qld.checkin
Arriving on Sundays will now involve scanning the QR code at the door, which will open the QLD Check In App for you to check in. Alternatively, if someone accompanying you has a smartphone, they can add you as a guest on their check in.
Auditorium Capacity
Capacity has increased from 1 person per 2 square meters to 3 per 4 square meters. Which means our capacity has increased to 330 in the auditorium.
The last few terms, kids have been going straight out to the hall to help manage capacity in the auditorium. When Kids Church resumes on 18th July, kids will be able to come into the auditorium with Parents, and go out to Kids Church after the Spotlight in the same way we did pre-COVID. This means we encourage parents to arrive early and check kids into Kids Church before the service starts at 9am.
There are still some things the same though:
- Stay home if you are sick,
- Physical distance of 1.5m
- And good hand and respiratory hygiene
