This week we had the pleasure of helping some of our kids and youth celebrate some big milestone moments in their lives.
At the 9am service we celebrated with the grade sixes as they graduate from the primary years of schooling and transition into high school. With lots of potential changes in their immediate futures, it was lovely to take a few minutes with them and their leaders to remember how much they’ve already grown and pray for them as they begin their high-school years.
Similarly, at the 6pm service we commemorated the grade 12’s completion of high-school with prayer and reflection on their growth.
As a Church family it is our prayer that God will continue to work in the hearts and lives of all our young people, and that these milestones will be markers of exciting new opportunities and growth. To this end we presented each of them with a new bible to encourage them to continue to pursue a relationship with God as they step into these next exciting chapters of life.
Please continue to pray for all our graduating young people, that it will be a stress free and exciting change for them and their families, and that they’ll know God’s presence through it all.
