Can you help PCQ Church offices? Request for help with archives and QTC reception

This request has come from PCQ Church Offices. If you can offer some time, please contact Christina christina@pcq.org.au

Archives Infestation:

It has recently come to our attention that there is a silverfish infestation happening at our Facility for Archival Retrieval & Temporary Storage, currently setup at the Southside Church (located at 30 McKechnie Dr, Eight Mile Plains).

Due to short staffing, we are sending an urgent call for volunteers to assist with folding blunder traps and placing these in each box which stores historical information of the PCQ. An induction will be provided upon arrival.

We anticipate that, depending on the number of volunteers who can assist, this task should be completed within 2-3 days maximum. Hours of assistance will be scheduled based on the availability of volunteers.

If you can assist with this infestation management, please reply to this email.

Information about other ways you can assist as a volunteer with Archives will be circulated in due course.

Assisting with Reception:

While the QLD Theological College is in its holiday period, Reception at the Spring Hill property is the responsibility of Church Offices.

The dates which we need help with Reception are usual business hours (i.e., between 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM) from Monday 21 June 2021 to 9 July 2021 inclusive.

The Spring Hill property is located at 369 Boundary Street, Spring Hill; and a free carpark is available upon request.

The main duties are to be present at the front desk to answer the front door and to provide a COVID induction to all visitors.

If you would like to help assist in this way, please reply to this email advising which days (or block period) you are able to help.

Any expressions of interest to assist with PCQ Reception in the longer term or with other administrative tasks are also welcome.
