Last Sunday we farewelled the Micklethwaite Family. A little while ago they purchased a home at Darra & while the drive over on a Sunday was “do-able”, Steve and Beth found that joining in such events as Friday Drinks and Dinner was beyond their reach. Thus becoming part of the community of our church, while important to them, was very difficult, made more difficult by distance.

The Micklethwaites are joining a church at Kenmore and are keen to invest with that church family.

While at Living Church, Steve and Beth have been part of the Grow Ministry Team as Growth Group Leaders. Beth has helped with editing the Growth Group material and Steve and the girls have been part of the Carols Team over a couple of years. We thank them for their ministry while at Living Church.

We will miss having them as part of our church – but know that this move will be great for their family. We will be able to see them from time to time, as their eldest daughter Lilly will continue in the Youth program.
