It’s time for an annual review of the accuracy of information held in Elvanto. Elvanto is the database we use when we communicate with each other, care for each other, and do church together.
Elvanto is where we get the email addresses to send out the weekly newsletter and Grow Daily so you can stay connected; it’s where we roster people to do church – whether that be Sundays, Growth Group, or during the week; and it’s a primary tool in helping keep our young people safe.
We will never use the information in Elvanto to spam you, give people access to your personal details, or on-sell your information to third parties. You can update your privacy settings in Elvanto that allow you to choose what information is publicly available – here are some instructions on how to do that. What we’re asking you to do
On Sunday 7th March you will be emailed a unique link to the information we have for you in Elvanto. Please take a few minutes to check if this is correct and current, and update any information that is out of date or missing.
If you are the listed in Elvanto as the primary parent of a child under 18, your link will include information to check about them as part of our PresSafe Compliance Check. This is a compulsory process we undertake each year to help keep our young people safe.
If you don’t receive this email in your inbox (and you’ve checked your junk/spam folder), it’s probably because your email address needs updating. You can talk to our Elvanto team at the Next Steps Desk on Sunday 14 March, or call the office during the week.
It’s as simple as that.
